The Soviet PSO-1 telescopic sight was at the time of its introduction (around 1964), the most technically advanced telescopic sight ever designed for a mass-production designated marksman or sniper rifle. The PSO-1 telescopic sight is manufactured in Russia by the Novosibirsk instrument-making factory (NPZ Optics State Plant) and is issued with the Russian military SVD or Dragunov rifle.
The modern version of the sight is the PSO-1M2, can be used on following models of the weapon:
Sniper rifles: SVD (SVDS), SVU, OSV-96, TKV-0145K and others;
Special rifles: VSS, VSK-94;
Training rifles: TSV-1;
Special automatic machines: VAL, etc.;
Carbines: "Saiga", "Tiger", "Sable";
Kalashnikov's automatic machines of various versions;
Kalashnikov's machine guns of various versions, etc.

Model PSO-1M2 is created as SubDivision Surfaces. Model consists of 68716 polygons - 68412 quads and 304 triangles.
